I have always found in art a way to express myself. When I received the vows of Zen Buddhist nun I learned to channel and express my spiritual practice through artistic creation. I have been doing so with the Japanese floral areglo ikebana and the Sino-Japanese painting sumi-e.
SHORIO was born with the intention of creating bad or rosaries with a more contemporary design, consistent with current style and fashion. This is not at odds with the quality of our pieces to be used as protectors or meditation tools, a simple accessory to practice mindfulness through the recitation of mantras or phrases of power.
SHORIO's pieces express harmony and simplicity as a reflection of our inner life, the constant communion between it and nature and the movement of life within stillness. Our intention is to create a jewel in which nothing stands between what you want to express and the expression itself.
SHORIO parts are made with quality materials. They are handmade, with love and conscience, always asking the best of their carriers.
